I currently serve as the Deputy Director of the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis and also a member of the Shelby County School Board.
For the past 20 years, I have worked with local non- profit organizations focused on improving the economic security of women and children. I firmly believe that the best way to support a community is to empower and support the most disenfranchised members.
And one of the greatest opportunities to empower them is through a quality education, the greatest equalizer of our time. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live a quality life and I am dedicated to helping the families of Memphis reach their full potential, one family at a time.
I am a community leader. And I am Independent.
I moved to Memphis to pursue my lifelong dream of owning a local brew pub. I own and operate Hammer & Ale with my father-in-law. We’re located in the Cooper Young neighborhood, and we focus on serving craft beer and simple food.
When you visit us, we want you to obviously taste the passion we have for craft beer, but we also want you to feel the neighborly spirit. The Memphis community has really been involved in promoting and supporting us, so we want you to feel just as welcome when you arrive.
If one of us doesn’t greet you for some reason, Murphy, our twelve-year old Maltipoo mascot, will.
I am a craft brew advocate. And I am Independent.
I am the CEO and founder of Connect Healthcare Collaboration. We give companies in the Memphis community control over their healthcare. Specifically, we use a tested and proven model to engage employees, increase health literacy, customize solutions, renew employee well-being, and reduce excess spending for employers.
Memphis is a city that has a lot of grit and tenacity, and that type of environment fosters many startups and business activity. And that is why we exist, because we know healthcare can feel daunting and hard to navigate for many business owners.
We’re here to support your business so that you can continue to grow and succeed.
I am a fast-growing startup. And I am Independent.
